Thinking About Strategy on Soil and Water Conservation Development In China
Abstract: Based on the laws of soil and water loss and economy as well as the strategy of national economy in the third development, the strategy of soil and water conservation development for future should be as followings. Land resources should be rationally opened and used, and the structures of land－usage and industry should be the most reasonable. Eco－environment should be improved by promoting what is beneficial and abolishing what is harmful such as droughts, floods, wind and sand storms. A comprehensive management should be undertaken to improve agricultural production’’s conditions and help farmers to alleviate poverty. The residents in the areas where eco－environment is badly deteriorated should be emigrated to speed up the step of wholly constructing a well－wealthy society. Consideration must be given to the activities of protection, control and prevention to push conservation work further in all sides. Right measures should be taken in view of different erosions to strengthen the control of soil and water losses.
